Seoul is a wonderful city, but my trip was ruined because of my hotel room. I couldn't sleep due to NO Air Conditioning .It was 27 degrees in the room. Disappointed in Migliore Hotel in Myeongdong. I asked other guest staying about the lack of air condition and they all were disappointed. What disappointed me the most is that event though I spoke to front desk staff about the discomfort, they did not try to make any adjustments to the temperature. My concerns were not addressed.
Booking.com should let their customers know that there is no air conditioning at this hotel. They should do a site visit before listing this hotel on their website.
The worse hotel experience. TI ruined by trip to Korea.

Our visit to the DMZ was the highlight of our time in Seoul.
Our visit to the DMZ was the highlight of our time in Seoul. We enjoyed visiting the markets and the palaces. We were thankful that we had a guide because we don't eat seafood and knowing what we were eating was essential. Being close to the railway system was convenient and helpful.

A huge City with a fantastic affordable metro system ( subway/buses ). Museums and art galleries everywhere and most are free or little money to visit, over 65’s go free. The 5 palaces are well worth a visit and don’t miss out on the secret garden. Be prepared to eat lots of delicious food.

This is one of the most exciting destinations at the moment!
This is one of the most exciting destinations at the moment!
There's that irresistible mix of ultra modern and historical tradition that seeps through your entire stay, and no matter how long you stay, it's always too short.
The transportation system is easy to manage, clean, and punctual and taxis are cheap, but don't miss out on walking through Seoul forest or along the Han river. Walk up Namsan or up to Ihwa mural village and enjoy the splendid view over Seoul. Or cross the Sky Bridge at Lotte Tower for some adrenaline!
The streets are clean and safe, and never did I as a woman once feel unsafe or scared walking around late at night. Hongdae, away from the touristy main streets, at night is magical!
And don't even get me started on the food! This is foodie heaven! Have a full Korean barbecue with all the banchan, or rub shoulders with locals on long benches around a sundae market stall, or pick up a quick street food snack like hotteok or Bungeoppang.
If you haven't visited Seoul yet, my only questions are: Why? and When are you going?

Very beautiful place with historical sights and modern...
Very beautiful place with historical sights and modern buildings, very near each other.
Palaces around Seoul are very beautiful.
For example: Gyeongbokgung - 경복궁, Gyeonghuigung Palace - 경희궁, Čchangdokkung - 창덕궁, Changgyeonggung Palace - 창경궁
City gates and city walls around Seoul are very beautiful, too.
There is a lot of beautiful parks in Seoul.
Like Seoul Forest Park - 서울숲공원, Olympic Park - 올림픽공원 and others.
There is a lot of beautiful shrines in Seoul.
Mountains around Seoul are very beautiful offers a magnificent view of the city.
Strongly recommend walk by the Han river.
Korean food is very tasty, public transport is very good and fast.
I like Seoul a lot, I will be coming back soon. Maybe even regularly. Seoul have lot to offer.
The Step Inn Myeongdong 2 is best budget accomodation that located at the central of Myeongdong.
Staff are excellent that attending you well and help us to stay comfortable in the hotel. They speak English well for who did not know Korean.
The price is value for money, room is clean and comfortable with simple breakfast. Free water and hot water. Microwave to heat up our foods.
Location is priceless in which you can enjoy the various shop and street foods stall open every night.
Thank you very much to accomodate us!!!
See you again.
Location was excellent - you could reach the hotel with one train from the Incheon airport.
Personally I really loved the Hongdae neighborhood - there were many cafes, shops, bars and clubs in the district that gave many options where to spend your evenings. We stayed in South Korea for 2 weeks and this was our favourite hotel.
The premises and room of the hotel was quite new, with all necessary appliances.
Check in/out was on the upper floor and the staff was really helpful - they even found my bracelet that I thought I had lost.
The location was very near the Metro. The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds and pillows were soooo comfy! The hotel was quiet and peaceful. And there’s even a laundry area and a water refilling machine upstairs. The best part of our stay was how Damien accommodated all our requests - he always went the extra mile! Thank you Damien! And also, the airport bus pick up point was very near the hotel. And there’s a convenient store right outside. I would stay here again the next time I go to Korea!
The room is comfortable, clean, and complete. I love that this is a Japanese style hotel with separate toilet and bath. The toilet has bidet. Even the toilet in the reception area also has bidet. Pajama is also provided and also humidifier. Amenities are excellent. Location is superb, easy to get bus, taxi, very close to Namdaemun market and within walking distance to Myeongdong (15-20 minutes). Subway is around 10 minutes walk. The staff speaks good English, Japanese, and Korean.
It's a before and after experience. Once you have been through a few other hotels in Korea, you will realize that this one is really well thought through. Especially for folks from outside Korea. For example, coin laundry, English speaking staff, shower, toilet with bidet, rooftop seating, refill for drinking water (I don't like using new plastic bottles everytime), optional breakfast (this could be made slightly cheaper), access to bus stops, subway etc.
The overall facilities is clean. Was worried initially since i heard there is also now bed bugs infestation in Korea. But good thing the hotel assured me that they sanitize regularly and that there is no case in their hotel. All throughout my stay, me and my family had no issue at all. Slept soundly :)
Lastly, their customer service is the best. Mr Song from frontdesk (hope i remember his name correctly) helped me so much with my credit card issue.
I've been at Solo Travel for over a month and this was one of the best places where I ever Stayed. I was able to learn a lot about South Korea thanks to Reina and it was always nice to spend time there, with all the people. I can really recommend this Hotel.
BTW "If you are a Man please make some noise if you strand behind Reina. She is very easy to Scare and this has happened to me several times 😅😅"
It is the third time for me in ORAKAI Insadong Suites , I feel comfortable to stay here ,, they have a lovely and helpful staff ( security guys, reception staff , clean’s lady and administration)
They have clean suites , the location of the Orakai is near to attractions place , bazar and metro stations, whenever I will visit south Korea . for sure I will stay here ,,,
Went to korea for our honeymoon and the Intercontinental made it our special time feel even more special. The service in this hotel is top notch and we felt very well taken care off. I will definitely stay again the next time on back to korea, it's the best 5 star hotel me and my husband have stayed at so far in terms of service and care.
The location was just right. Local and authentic Korean eateries are just a few steps away from the hotel and the property is quiet because it's away from busy Myeongdong but not too far away that it's easy to walk to Myeongdong markets. The room was clean. We especially liked that the windows open to allow fresh air in.
Absolut excellence of personnel throughout every position. But the best of them all is the cleaning crew who paid attention to every single detail. The rooms are elegant and generous and the bed very comfortable. Everything was to our fullest satisfaction and we would return to South Korea just for the Hotel.
Best location around Hongdae. Close to everything. Room has a modern and traditional feeling combined. Staff was very helpful and some speak very good English. Helped us book Taxi to the airport, since Uber/UT isn’t very usable in South Korea based on our experience
The location was amazing, best location you can ever get and it’s so convenient to literally everywhere -gwangjang market, bukchon hanok, myeongdong, namdaemun, dongdaemun, seoul station, airport busstop right outside the hotel to incheon airport
The place was so convenient to find food and go shopping and it's much cheaper to shop from that area compared to myeongdong market..
Will definitely recommend to stay there because I'll stay there again if I go back to Korea...
Very good upper midscale hotel, just like the other GLAD properties in Korea. Staff is friendly and efficient. Well connected right next to Mapo subway station, with direct access from ICN via the local airport express train.
-Very friendly and attentive staff.
-One of the most comfortable beds in our stay in South Korea.
-Clean room
-Although the city is huge, we really liked the location in Hongdae and the hotel is placed well
The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and spoke English which was helpful. The bathroom was modern and larger than some other hotels in South Korea.
